Our Senior HVAC/R Technician is expected to competently and efficiently:
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Repair the equipment
- Replace equipment (when it can't be repaired)
- Provide preventive maintenance
- Conduct warranty services, and
- Perform emergency repairs

HVAC/R Senior Technician
Responsibilities
A Senior HVAC/R Technician has a diverse set of responsibilities. Depending on the requirements of any particular job, your most important responsibility is to repair and maintain the HVAC/R system, or as a last resort, recommend installing a new system or major component. In fact, at VA Commercial Repair Solutions, you will spend much of your time alternating between these two roles.
Common responsibilities for our HVAC/R Technicians include:
- Repairing and maintaining our client's equipment
- Removing old systems and installing new ones
- Performing routine preventive maintenance
- Training, organizing and supervising junior team members
- Communicating with our clients
- Providing specific, exact and complete information so our office staff can order replacement parts and new equipment
- Promoting local HVAC codes always as we never cut corners
